After switching to the Leica digital ecosystem, I had a growing desire to experience the same simplistic approach when shooting on film. So, when I had the opportunity to purchase this 1959 Leica M3 Chrome - Single Stroke, I couldn't pass it by. And, already owning the Zeiss 28mm and 50mm m-mount lens, I was ready to go. Since purchasing my M3, I have acquired the Leitz Summicron-C 40mm f:2 which is more compact for traveling. It is no wonder that the Leica M3 is the most successful m-mount camera ever and maybe the best camera of all time. The Leica M3 is a masterpiece, perfection that surpasses time. What a classic!

The first roll of film that I shot was Ilford Pan 400. I developed that film at home with Kodak D-76 and then scanned it at home with the Epson V600.
