Rob Davidson

I recently was able to travel to the East coast to visit my friend and fellow photographer, Rob Davidson. While with him, I shared my video knowledge and he shared his film knowledge. I had the great honor of making B&W portraits of Rob using a 1960’s Rolleiflex. Although I have shot film a few times before this time I developed the film, too, instead of sending it off to a lab.

There is something magical about making photographs on film. Besides becoming more deliberate with your vision and slowing down the pace, it’s the whole hands-on process. Developing the film yourself and seeing the images reveal themselves on the negatives is so rewarding in itself.

Here’s some behind the scenes photos. Follow me on Instagram.
