Ping Pong Ball Explosion

So, what do you do in celebration of no more 8th graders?
You send them out with a BOOM!

With only hours left before entering high school, the kids at South Middle School in Joplin, MO got to experience one more Science demonstration by Mrs. Debra Lawler and Ms. Kristin Shelton. In this demonstration, the students got to see what happens when liquid nitrogen becomes a gas. And, for some added effects, they placed 1,200 ping pong balls in the trash can.
